From abroad
Renting an RV from France.
Louer un camping-car pour Burning Man se fait aux États-Unis. Le permis français n'est pas un permis anglais. Nous ne réservons pas le véhicule, et nous ne faisons pas partie de Burning Man Project.
The search is camping-car Burning Man, or location camping-car. The van still comes from a US counter. A French licence is not an English licence, and a van that lives in France does not drive to Nevada.

We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this is for.
Travellers Autobarn's US terms ask for an IDP or an accredited English translation when the licence is not in English. El Monte's FAQ asks for a translation in that same case, and they do not take a provisional licence. Cruise America's 2026 notes want the physical licence and a passport, and they refuse a digital licence. All three want drivers to be at least 21. Get the international permit in France before you fly. We are not the office that issues it.
Flights from Paris usually reach San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas in one hop. Reno is often a connection. Pickup in one city and a drop in another is a one-way, and only the fleet you booked can price it. Cruise America's notes list $750 to or from Reno, inside a wider range, and $3,000 if the one-way was not authorized. A same-day pickup is allowed on those notes, and a missed connection is yours. Call the center. A night in town is the kinder plan after a transatlantic flight.
A motorhome from Cruise America, El Monte, or Road Bear is the bed, the tanks, and the generator. There are no power hookups. A campervan from Travellers Autobarn, Indie Campers, Escape, or roadsurfer is the easier drive, and several have no toilet, so the city's toilets are the plan. Outdoorsy, RVezy, Moterra, and Fraserway forbid the trip. One contract is what you split, among the people sleeping in it. The vehicle pass is on the city's ticketing page.
The rig parks at camp. The bike is how you leave it. Buy one in Reno from Kiwanis or Reno Bike Project, on the event's list, or rent a frame in Reno, Sparks, Nixon, or Gerlach. Lights, a lock, and a flag are still yours. Do not put the bike in the hold as the first plan if a Reno bike is free the day you land.
Licence, deposit, and the same-day flight rule for every passport are on the flying-in page. The week itself, for someone who has not done this city, is the guide for people flying in. Renting the rig is the Burning Man RV page. Flying in without the box? Ship the gear to Reno. The bike, once the rig is parked, is the bike guide from abroad. The companies that forbid the trip are on the comparison.

Air conditioning after a whiteout, a real bed, and a door that seals the dust. These are the rigs worth booking.

Questions
- Where should I fly if I am renting for Burning Man?
- Reno-Tahoe for a Reno or Sparks pickup. San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas if that is the counter you booked. A one-way between them exists only when that company publishes it. Cruise America's 2026 notes list $750 to or from Reno.
