Cruise America publishes a San Francisco center in Newark. El Monte and Road Bear both publish a Burning Man down payment for San Francisco pickups. Travellers Autobarn, Indie Campers, and roadsurfer name San Francisco on their Burning Man pages.
California is one of the five states in Cruise America's 2026 client notes. Departures from 26 August through 1 September 2026 raise the refundable deposit from $500 to $1,000. That window is theirs. A third-party copy of older dates is why the rental guide tells you to read the contract.
