Pickup

RV rental from Portland for Burning Man.

Portland is far enough that the one-way question matters. Cruise America is the fleet whose own page names an Oregon center. We have not found a second fleet that publishes a Portland Burning Man pickup.

We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this is for. We do not book the rental.

Cruise America's Portland page puts the center at 25500 SW Grahams Ferry Rd, Sherwood, OR 97140, and the same page also mentions 8400 SE 82nd Ave. Those are two addresses. Call the center on that page before you aim a shuttle at either one. The phone they print is (503) 548-4480.

Oregon is in the 2026 deposit window, so a late-August departure takes the $1,000 deposit on their notes. A one-way that involves Reno is the $750 line on the same notes. El Monte, Road Bear, and Travellers Autobarn do not name Portland on the Burning Man pages we use.

The decision around the counter, the tanks, and the companies that forbid the trip is renting an RV for Burning Man. Fees that are not repeated here are on the rental guide and in the comparison. Dumping is the pump-out note, the generator is its own page, and flying in is the licence note.

Counters their own pages name.

Questions

Can I rent in Portland and return the RV in Reno?
Only as a one-way Cruise America has agreed to. Their 2026 notes price a one-way to or from Reno at $750, and an unauthorized one-way at $3,000. Ask them to put the drop on the reservation.
