Six fleets, four pickup cities, and the one-way note each company actually published. Reno, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas are the cities on this page. A fee stays on the company's page. Where that page is silent, the line says check with the company.
We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this is for.
Company buttons on this page open the company's own site. They are plain links. If you buy through an affiliate link elsewhere on Burner Supply, we may earn a commission. Your price does not change. How the links work.

One-way
Their FAQ says one-way reservations are available between most rental centers, by advance reservation, and that the route is subject to availability and restrictions. Drop fees can change with the pickup, the drop, and the dates. A route that is not written on the reservation still has to be approved. Check with the company. Cruise America FAQ
Burning Man
They publish a Burning Man page. The FAQ says deposits for some rentals, and it names Burning Man as an example, may be increased at Cruise America's discretion. The amount is on the contract you sign. Cruise America FAQ

Burning Man
Their guide says El Monte permits the trip. It publishes a down payment, in place of the standard deposit, for San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas pickups, and it offers a prepaid cleaning charge for Burning Man rentals. On that same guide, one section treats the cleaning charge as a prepaid offer and the FAQ calls it optional. The amounts are on the guide. The guide also points fee details at Travel Extras. RVshare

Pickup cities
Reno, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas: their Burning Man guide does not publish a company counter in any of them. Pickup is the owner's listing. Check with the company, and read that listing, before you count on a city.
One-way
Their Burning Man guide does not describe one-way rentals. Check with the company. RVshare Burning Man guide
Burning Man
Their guide is written for owners. It tells them to mark a listing Burning Man friendly, or to mark it as not. Book only a listing that says the event is allowed. The guide is not a promise that a renter in your city will find a yes. RVshare Burning Man guide
Questions
- Which of these companies allow Burning Man?
- Cruise America, El Monte, Road Bear, Indie Campers, and roadsurfer each publish a page that allows the trip, with a condition or a fee on that page. RVshare allows it only when that owner has marked the listing as allowed. The comparison links the page. The amount stays there.
- Can I pick up in one city and drop the RV in another?
- Only when that company has booked the one-way. Cruise America, El Monte, Road Bear, Indie Campers, and roadsurfer each publish something about one-way rentals. RVshare's Burning Man guide does not. If the row says check with the company, that is the answer until they confirm the route.
- Why is Outdoorsy not on the list?
- Outdoorsy terms call it a breach to take a vehicle to a festival Outdoorsy has not authorized, and the terms name Burning Man. We do not recommend Outdoorsy for this trip. The link on this page is those terms, not a booking form.
