Burner Supply

From Europe

Flying in from Europe.

The suitcase is the limit. The desert is the same week either way. Pack what has to be on you. Ship what will not fit, to a locker, a Hub counter, or the hotel in Reno. You order it. Amazon delivers. We do not ship the carton, and we do not meet you there.

We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this is for.

Ship to Reno opens amazon.com with our tag. If you buy through it, we may earn a commission. Your price does not change. Pack from home is a plain Amazon link. How the links work.

The week itself is Burning Man from abroad. The shorter flying note is flying in. The rig, if the bed is a rental, is RV rental from abroad and a campervan from Europe. Where a Reno parcel can wait is ship gear to Reno. The same split, as a kit, is the overseas flyer kit. A bike still gets rented before the gate: a bike from abroad.

Usually in the bag

These are the pieces that have to be on you. Both buttons are still here, if you would rather meet the carton in Reno.

Usually a box to Reno

Shade, jugs, and a cot are bulky. Both buttons are still here, if your luggage allowance can take one of them.

Sunscreen, lip balm, and a warm layer belong in the day bag. We do not have a single listing for them in the catalog, so this page does not invent a product link.

Travel essentials

Four things to sort before the flight. Each one is the provider's own terms. We are not quoting a plan, a limit, or a fee.

eSIM

A data plan that works when you land is how you open the rental confirmation, the map, and a locker code. An eSIM is one way to do that. Read what the plan includes, which countries it covers, and whether a hotspot is part of it. We do not sell one.

Travel insurance

Medical care and a cancelled flight live in the policy you buy. Read it. Ask the insurer, in writing, whether a desert event, a rental vehicle, and treatment in Nevada are covered. We do not sell a policy, and we do not quote a limit.

Car rental

A car between the airport and the RV counter is a different contract from the rig. Tell that company where the car is going, and read the lines on cleaning, interior damage, and driving off pavement. We do not publish a fee. The longer note is rental cars for the playa.

Money transfer

The rental company sets the way it gets paid, including which card it takes for the deposit. Read that page before you fly. A transfer from a European bank can take longer than the pickup day. We do not know your bank's fee, and we do not name a transfer service's terms. Arrange a way to pay that the company accepts.

Questions

What should I pack, and what should I ship to Reno?
Pack what has to be on your body: goggles that seal, respirators, a bottle or a bladder, a headlamp, earplugs, and any medicine you already take. Ship the bulky pieces when they will not fit the luggage allowance on your ticket: the shade frame, the cloth, the jugs, the cot. Every line has both buttons. Amazon's checkout is what decides whether a locker is offered.
Are the Amazon buttons affiliate links?
Ship to Reno opens amazon.com with our tag, burnersupply-20. If you buy through it, we may earn a commission. Your price does not change. Pack from home is a plain Amazon link until a OneLink tag is added. We are not affiliated with Burning Man Project.
Do you sell an eSIM, travel insurance, or a money-transfer plan?
No. The travel section says what to read on the provider's own page. We do not quote a plan, a policy limit, a rental-car fee, or a transfer service's terms.
