Every Black Friday

Camp gear, every Black Friday.

The week on the playa does not care what the calendar called the sale. We use the same test every Black Friday and every Cyber Monday: watt-hours, watts, the chemistry if the listing actually prints it, the solar plug, and the warranty on that page.

This year's dates, from the one line we update: Black Friday is November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is November 30, 2026.

We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this gear is for.

How to judge a power-station deal

Watt-hours are how long. Watts on the label, times the hours you will actually run that device, is the sum. Compare it to the watt-hours printed on the station. A sticker that looks large can still be a phone bank with a handle.

Inverter watts are whether it can run the thing at all. Our note on the Explorer 300 calls that unit about 300 watt-hours and about 300 watts. Read the listing you open. Those pages rotate.

LiFePO4 is a battery chemistry you will see on some listings, usually next to a claim about cycle life and heat. We have not printed a chemistry on the Jackery or EcoFlow notes, so we will not pretend we opened a spec sheet we did not. If the listing does not say it, it is not a fact yet.

Solar input is the watts the station will accept, and the plug has to match the panel. A panel's sticker is not the watt-hours you get back on a dusty day. Warranty years live on the listing and in the maker's terms. We are not quoting a number from memory.

The arithmetic, without a sale attached, is the camp power note. Sizing fans, a CPAP, phones, and a fridge, and the BLUETTI pages we link, is best power stations for Burning Man. A portable air conditioner is the AC note. The check-off list is the packing list. Ready-to-order lists are the kits: the First-Timer Kit, the Overseas Flyer Kit, shade and dust, and the BLUETTI power kit.

Power stations

The box we hand a quiet camp is the Explorer 300. Our note calls it about 300 watt-hours and about 300 watts: lights, phones, a fan, and a laptop. The Anker bank is the personal layer, not a station. The WAVE 3 is a portable air conditioner with its own battery, and the 300 cannot run it. BLUETTI sells larger stations. We link two pages we could open on their US site, and we do not print a figure from a box we have not opened.

How dust and heat treat the battery, and the BLUETTI pages we could open, are on best power stations for Burning Man.

EcoFlow

EcoFlow WAVE 3

A different machine. The add-on battery is its own box. Shade still does the open hours. We are not calling this a power station.

BLUETTI

BLUETTI Elite 100 V2

A BLUETTI station on their US site, larger than the Explorer 300 we list. We have not opened this box, so we are not printing watt-hours, watts, or a price. Read those on their page.

BLUETTI

BLUETTI Elite 200 V2

A larger BLUETTI station for a written load that is already past the Explorer 300. We have not opened it. We will not say it runs the WAVE 3. Read the watts on their page and in the manual of the thing you want to run.

Solar

A panel is a top-up on a clear afternoon. Dust on the glass, and a whiteout, make it a folded mat. Match the plug to the station before you buy the wattage.

Coolers, shade, tents, and cots

These fail in the same way every year, sale or not. A soft cooler is warm by the afternoon. A tarp is an oven. A tent without shade over it is an oven. The ground is colder than noon.

Lights and the e-bike bits

A headlamp for camp, a lantern for staying, a string for the frame. An e-bike still needs a light, a lock, and the odd part a gift camp may not carry. The repair kit and the dry lube are what we list for that.

Sister brand

Dustproof Supply is our sister brand, run by the same team. Their Power & Solar collection is stations, banks, panels, and lights for the rest of the festival calendar. This page stays on playa gear.

Sister brands' sales

Dustproof Supply and Raverr are sister brands run by the same team. Their sale pages are theirs. This page stays on playa gear.

Questions

Do you publish a Black Friday percent off?
No. A percent off goes stale the hour the listing changes, and we will not invent one. The button opens today's page. The price on that page is the price.
Which power stations do you actually list?
The Jackery Explorer 300, the EcoFlow WAVE 3, and an Anker 20,000 mAh bank are in the catalog. BLUETTI is a direct link to two stations on their US site. We have not opened those boxes, so those cards do not print watt-hours or a price. Anker SOLIX and Goal Zero are still not in this catalog.
Is a sale a reason to skip shade?
No. Shade is still how the open hours get survived. A station in the noon sun is a worse deal than a full-price one you keep in the shade.
