The ground pulls heat and finds every lump. We stopped sleeping on it. A wide cot is heavy, which is fine because you drove. It earns its space on a cold night and again as a nap under shade. Measure the car before you fall in love with the length.

How we use it

The XXL is large and on the heavy side, which is fine because you are not backpacking to your hex. Shake the dust out of the rails before you fold it or you will be grinding alkali into the frame until next August. A pad on top is worth it if you sleep cold.
