Jackery Explorer 300

Jackery

Burning Man power gear

About 300 watt-hours for lights, phones, a fan, and a laptop.

Why it's on the list

A bigger phone bank is still a phone bank. About 300 watt-hours is what we hand a quiet camp that needs lights, phones, a fan, and a laptop. Charge it full before the gate and keep it in the shade. A fridge and a sound system at once is the wrong job. Heat ends these faster than the week does.

How we use it

Charge it at home. Keep it in the shade, off the ground dust, and out of a closed car at noon. Heat is what ends these units. Bring the cables you actually use, including the one for the bike lights. A solar panel is a bonus on a clear day and a rumor in a whiteout, so do not plan the week around a panel you have not tested.

Heads up

Read the watt-hour and watt numbers on the listing you open. About 300Wh and 300W is this unit. It does not run a compressor cooler and a sound camp at the same time.
