Theme camp
A bulk list for the camp.
People, days, a shade area, and how hard you are leaning on a battery. The water line is the city's. Everything else is a planning default we would use before a build weekend, and then check against the structure you actually own.
We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this gear is for.
The Survival Guide says you need 1.5 gallons of water per person per day for drinking, washing, and cleaning. That sentence is on the Survival Guide and on their water page. The longer reading is our water note. How we size a station for fans, a CPAP, phones, and a fridge is best power stations for Burning Man. The watt-hour arithmetic stays on the camp power note. The whole shelf, already counted by hand, is the printable master list. A regional that is not this desert should start at regionals and use their water rule instead.

Questions
- Is 1.5 gallons only drinking water?
- The Survival Guide's line, as we quote it on the water note, is 1.5 gallons per person per day for drinking, washing, and cleaning. A shower, a mist fan, or a group dinner's dishes can sit outside a careful person's share. Add those yourself.
- Are the rebar and strap counts a rule?
- No. They are our planning defaults. Rebar is one stake per foot around a square of the shade you entered. Straps are four per 100 square feet, and at least four. A structure you have already built should be counted from the feet it has.
- Why is there no watt-hour number for high power?
- A fridge or a portable air conditioner has to be sized from its own manual. Our WAVE 3 note does not publish a watt-hour figure, and the Explorer 300 cannot run that unit. We will not invent one for a sale or a calculator.
