Travellers Autobarn's US terms require an IDP, or an accredited English translation, when the licence is not in English. El Monte's FAQ asks for an International Driver's License translation in that same case. Cruise America's 2026 notes ask for a physical licence and a foreign passport, and they do not accept a digital licence. They do not, on those notes, require an IDP by that name.

Which passport, which page

The UK note is a British licence. The Germany note is the German one, including the translation rule. The Netherlands and Israel do not have a separate URL. A licence that is not in English is the same IDP question El Monte and Travellers Autobarn already print, and it lives on the flying-in note. Canada and Australia are not this page. Their border and depot facts are different.

The licence and the flight

El Monte's FAQ wants every driver at least 21, with a permanent licence. If that licence has no English, they want an International Driver's License translation. Travellers Autobarn's US terms require an IDP or an accredited English translation in that same case. Their FAQ is softer. The terms win. Cruise America's 2026 notes want a physical licence and a foreign passport, refuse a digital licence, and do not, on those notes, require an IDP by that name. They allow a same-day departure and say they are not responsible for a late flight, customs, or baggage.
