From abroad
Renting an RV from Australia and New Zealand.
An Australian or New Zealand licence is in English. The fleet people already know from home is not automatically a fleet that can hand you a van in Nevada.
We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this is for. We do not book the rental.
Jucy's locations page lists Australia and New Zealand only. There is no US depot to send a Burning Man reader to. Their affiliate program, where it exists, describes that same Australia and New Zealand fleet. We do not point a Black Rock City booking at it.
Travellers Autobarn publishes US depots in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and San Francisco, and a Burning Man page. The trip is allowed if you declare it and pay the supplementary fee on that page. An undeclared trip is the penalty in their US terms, and it can affect the insurance. That is the fleet with a US counter and a written rule. El Monte, Road Bear, and Cruise America are the motorhome counters, with their own fees.
Because the licence is in English, Travellers' IDP rule is the English-licence line, not the translation line. El Monte asks for a translation only when the original has no English. Cruise America still wants the physical licence and a passport, and they refuse digital licences. The deposit and the cleaning fee are unchanged by the passport.
Licence, deposit, and the same-day flight rule for every passport are on the flying-in page. The week itself is renting an RV for Burning Man. The companies that forbid it are on the comparison.

These open the company page for a fleet that publishes a Burning Man rule. Your price does not change. We are not affiliated with Burning Man Project. How the links work.
Links open the company page. None of them carry a tracking code.

Questions
- Can I book Jucy for Burning Man?
- Not from a US counter. Their locations page lists Australia and New Zealand only. A Jucy van at home does not become a Reno pickup.
- Does Travellers Autobarn allow the playa?
- Yes, if you declare it and pay the non-refundable supplementary fee on their Burning Man page before pickup. Their US terms are the penalty if you do not. The van still has to come back in the condition that page describes. The fee is not a substitute for a clean return.
