Why it's on the list
Dust is alkaline. Water smears it into paste. We came back to white vinegar in a labeled spray bottle for bikes, bins, and the car on the way out. It is also how a bladder does not smell like a science project next year. Never mix it with bleach.
How we use it
Decant into labeled spray bottles before you arrive. A gallon jug with a loose cap in a hot car is a story you only need once. A splash in a foot tub at the end of the day is how people get the alkali off their feet. Use a diluted spray on skin if you tolerate it, and always on the bike and the bins. It is also how you rinse a hydration bladder.
Heads up
It smells like vinegar, because it is vinegar. Do not mix it with bleach, ever. Keep it off sealed electronics.
