Why it's on the list
The walk from the car is where water gets left "for the next trip." A folding wagon with real wheels is how that walk stays honest. The Timber Ridge box we used to link is not in stock, so the button searches for an all-terrain wagon. Bearings pack with dust, so rinse them on the way out. It hauls. The bike still does the riding.
How we use it
The playa packs bearings. Expect it to sound worse by Friday. A vinegar rinse on the way out, then a dry-down, is how you get another year out of it. Use it between the car and camp. It is not a bike, and it is not a people-mover across the open city.
Heads up
Look for an all-terrain wagon rated around 200 pounds. A small beach cart with hard plastic wheels stops being useful the moment the load is two jugs and a cot.
