What to buy

What to buy for Burning Man 2027.

Dusty splash goggles with capped vents on a wooden crate.

The year on the ticket does not change the desert. This is the buy order we already use: dust, water, shade, a bike you can see, sleep, then a way to carry the trash home. It is not a new catalog, and it is not a price list.

We do not publish a 2027 date or a ticket price. Those live on the city's site. The ticket season note says which page to open. The boxes you can tick today are the gear checklist and the packing list. The long version is the complete packing list.

We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this gear is for.

Some product links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission. The price you pay does not change.

Each card opens the shop. Amazon links are affiliate links. Your price does not change. How the links work.

Buying one of these for someone else is gifts for burners. The sale-weekend version of that errand is Black Friday gifts for burners. A station-sized purchase is judged on Black Friday camp gear, not here. The first list we would hand a person is the first-timer kit.

Dust

Buy this before the costume. A whiteout does not care what year is on the ticket.

Water

A pack is how you drink away from camp. The week's drinking water is still jugs. The gallon count stays on the water note.

Shade

Skip this block only if camp has already said the shade includes you. A vague yes is a no.

Bike and night

The city is dark, and the bike is how you cross it. Lights, a lock, and a flag are still yours when you rent the frame.

Sleep

The afternoon is hot. The night still drops. Sleep off the ground, in a bag made for that night.

Pack it out

Everything you brought leaves with you. Vinegar is for the alkaline film. Bags are for the trash.

How much water is the water note. How the shade stays down is how to choose shade. What camp should answer before you shop is questions to ask your camp.

Questions

What should I buy for Burning Man 2027?
In this order: goggles that seal, drinking water, shade or a yes from camp, a bike you can see and lock, sleep for a cold night, and a way to pack the trash out. Costumes are last. Ask camp what they already cover before you buy a second shade.
Where are the 2027 dates and ticket prices?
On burningman.org. We do not publish a 2027 date, a ticket price, or a sale window. The tickets note says which of their pages to open.
Are you affiliated with Burning Man?
No. We are an independent outfitter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Burning Man Project. The event name is used so you know which week this gear is for. Amazon links on this page are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission. The price you pay does not change.
