Why it's on the list

The dusk foot tub is a splash of vinegar and enough water to cover both feet. A bowl from the mess kit is too small, and a bucket you cannot collapse eats the car. The first-aid booklet asks for a washbasin that can take both feet. Two basins means the feet never share a tub with the dishes.

How we use it

Order them with the rest of camp. One tub for feet, one for dishes. Foot water is gray water. It goes in the jug, not on the playa.

They crease. Shake the dust out before you fold them into the car. Do not use the dish basin for drinking water.
