Why it's on the list
An electric pump is nice until the station is saving itself for a lamp. A foot pump still works. The listing we opened is the Bestway Air Step, a manual bellows with an 0.8 liter stroke, a short hose, and three valve adapters. It inflates and deflates. It was $23.08, sold through Amazon's Germany storefront, so read the import note on the page.
How we use it
Try the adapters on your bed at home. Inflate on the tent floor or a rug, never on bare playa. The pump lives in the tent bag so it is not a separate search at midnight. Deflate with it too, or the bed becomes a dust balloon in the car.
Heads up
This is a high-volume pump, not a high-pressure one. It tops out around 3 psi, which is an air bed, not a narrow sleeping pad that wants a different valve. There were no United States reviews on the page when we opened it.
