Scott rapid-dissolving toilet paper

Scott

Burning Man camp gear

1-ply toilet paper, the paper the portos are built to take.

Why it's on the list

The portos take human waste and 1-ply. Two-ply, and anything a box calls flushable, still comes back out, and it is a problem for the crew who pump the tanks. A 1-ply roll in the bike basket, inside a bag, is the roll you will actually have. The rest of the pack stays at camp.

How we use it

One roll in the basket, in a zip bag, so it does not become a dust brick. Wipes still come home, even when the box says flushable. Pack the cardboard out.

Heads up

The spec that matters is 1-ply. We are not repeating dissolving-speed claims from the listing. If your camp stocks the portos, ask what they still want you to carry.
