Why it's on the list
The big carton of camp wipes is the shower. This is the pack you take to the porto: small enough for the basket, one wipe at a time, so the rest does not dry out in the dust. People buy the box that says flushable because it is soft and it breaks up in a house sewer. A Black Rock City porto is not that sewer.
How we use it
Look for a small pack, individually wrapped if you can find it. Keep a zip bag in the same pocket for the used ones. The portos take human waste and 1-ply toilet paper. A wipe, flushable or not, comes back to camp and goes in the trash you haul out.
Heads up
Do not drop them in the potty. The crew has to deal with what the package promised a septic tank. That promise does not apply here.
