Why it's on the list

We do not treat an inflatable lounger as playa furniture. An empty one is a sail, and a popped seam is moop. If a camp brings one anyway, it needs a flocked top, a pump you brought, and a patch kit in the bag. Sit it on a rug, under the shade, and deflate it before a gust. The chair is the seat that folds and stays.

How we use it

Inflate it at camp, on a rug, not on bare playa and not in a gravel lot. Find the hiss the hour it starts. Deflate it for a wind event and for the drive.

Wind takes these. It is not shade, and it is not a bed for a cold night.
