Camp first-aid kit

Burning Man camp gear

Bandages, antiseptic, blister care, and the pills you already know.

Why it's on the list

The survival guide asks for a real kit, not a tin of two bandages. Blisters, cuts from rebar, and a headache you should have treated at camp are how the medical tents fill up with small problems. Build a kit you can find in the dark: dressings, tape, antiseptic wipes, moleskin, and any medicine you already take, in its labeled bottle.

How we use it

Look for a packed kit, then add moleskin and your own prescriptions. The link is a search because kit contents rotate. Read the list. If it is mostly alcohol pads and wishful thinking, add the missing pieces before you leave home.

Heads up

A kit is not a doctor. Heat stroke, a deep cut, or trouble breathing is a medical tent, not a pouch in the bin.
