The hat, the shade, and the sunscreen are the plan. Skin still gets ahead of you. The first-aid booklet lists aloe for a minor sunburn. A small gel in the camp bin is the comfort after, on skin that tolerates it. It is not a reason to skip the hat, and it is not a treatment.

How we use it

Follow the label. Get out of the sun first. If the burn is blistered or you feel ill, that is a medical tent. Keep the cap on. Dust in the jar ruins the rest of it.
