Toilet waste bags

Why it's on the list

A seat without the bags made for it is a worse week than no seat. Doubled absorbent bags that fit a five-gallon bucket, more than the number of days, stored clean and separate from the food bin.

How we use it

Store clean bags in a zip pouch so they do not become dusty trash before you use them. Used bags go in a sealed bin you can lift without guessing what is in it. Label it. Future you, in the dark, will be grateful.

Heads up

This is camp sanitation, not a joke and not optional if you are relying on yourself. Pack it out.
