Saline sinus rinse

Why it's on the list

The drive home is when the week collects what you breathed. Alkaline dust sits in the sinuses and people blame the party. A plain saline rinse at the end of the day, with clean water, is unglamorous and it works. Getting the powder out is part of leaving well.

How we use it

Use bottled or boiled-and-cooled water with the saline packets, not a scoop from the jug spout you have been touching with dusty hands. Pack the packets where they cannot get crushed.

Heads up

Follow the packet instructions. This is comfort care for dusty sinuses, not a treatment.
